ASSURANCE & ADVISORY SERVICES EXECUTIVE
As an Assurance & Advisory Services Executive you will be required to provide an independent appraisal function which examines and evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of systems of internal control, risk management, governance process and quality of performance of the organisation.
Your major responsibilities include, but not limited to;
· Plan each engagement with regard to time frames, distribution of work, and extent of checking etc. in consultation with the Assurance & Advisory Services Manager. Ensure that work is carried out according to plan and in an efficient, timely and cost effective manner in order to achieve effective results.
· Provide suitable instruction to subordinates at the outset and throughout the engagement & ensure that subordinates carry out allocated tasks efficiently, accurately and within the given time frames in order to carry out the approved engagement programmes.
· Ensure that information is sufficient & appropriate in order to provide a reasonable basis for engagement findings.
· Develop and implement engagement programmes.
· Communicate the results of the engagement by preparing engagement reports in a manner which is objective, clear, concise, constructive and timely.
The candidate should possess the following minimum requirements:
· Passed finalist of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka or Chartered Institute of Management Accountants
· 2 years audit & assurance experience at a reputed organisation
AND
· Strong analytical skills
· Proficiency in computer skills
· Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
· Good interpersonal skills
Preference will be given to those who have a recognised qualification in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics and/or experience in Enterprise Risk Management.
Upper Age limit 35 years.
ASSURANCE & ADVISORY SERVICES SUPERVISOR (INFORMATION SYSTEMS)
As an Assurance & Advisory Services Supervisor (Information Systems) you will be required to independently handle a prescribed Information Systems engagement in order to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of systems of internal control, risk management, governance process and quality of performance within Information Systems and Information Technology Operations in the organisation.
Your major responsibilities include, but not limited to;
· Plan each IS engagement with regard to time frames, distribution of work, and extent of checking in consultation with the Assurance & Advisory Services Manager/Executive.
· Identify, analyse, evaluate, interpret and document sufficient information to achieve the engagement objectives.
· Communicate the results of the engagement by way of a draft report in a manner which is objective, clear, concise, constructive and timely
The candidate should possess the following minimum requirements:
· Part qualification (Completed 2 stages) in Australian Computer Society (ACS)/ British Computer Society (BCS) or equivalent academic/professional qualification and 6 passes at GCE 0/L with 4 Credits in one sitting which may include a Credit for English or a Credit for English obtained in not more than 2 sittings.
· 3 year's experience in the field of Information Systems/IT analysis & design of which 2 years should be in the field of Information Systems auditing / IT advisory.
AND
· Knowledge on IT system controls, network infrastructure, database management systems and related techniques are required
· Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
· Good interpersonal skills
Upper Age limit 30 years.
ASSURANCE & ADVISORY SERVICES OFFICER
As an Assurance & Advisory Services Officer you will independently handle a prescribed engagement under the supervision of the Assurance & Advisory Services Executive/ Assurance & Advisory Services Supervisor.
Your major responsibilities include, but not limited to;
· Identify, analyse, evaluate, interpret and document sufficient information to achieve the engagement objectives. Ensure that information is sufficient, competent, relevant and useful and provides a reasonable basis for engagement findings.
· Communicate the results of the engagement by way of a draft report in a manner which is objective, clear, concise, constructive and timely.
The candidate should possess the following minimum requirements:
· Part qualification of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (Completed Certificate in Accounting & Business Level 11) or Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (Completed Operational Level) and 6 passes at GCE 0/L including a Credit for English obtained in not more than 2 sittings.
· 2 years audit & assurance experience in a reputed organisation
AND
· Strong analytical skills
· Proficiency in computer skills
· Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
· Good interpersonal skills
Upper Age limit 30 years.
