Planning, developing and implementing a PR, community engagement and events plan for Zomato on an ongoing basis

- Actively seeking out and building relationships with journalists, thought leaders and influencers in the food & lifestyle, technology, mobile and start-up industry
- Liaising with key internal stakeholders across functions to develop press release material, identify and develop stories of interest to the press
- Community Engagement
- Building and maintaining community of relevant food, technology and lifestyle bloggers and opinion leaders
- Planning and organising events for the local foodie communities monthly and moderating reviews and interactions on Zomato
- Events
- Attending relevant events and active networking to spread the word about Zomato in Sri Lanka, primarily in Colombo
- Identifying relevant industry events for Zomato to exhibit, speak or have a presence at in Sri Lanka, primarily in Colombo
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 yrs of experience in the field of Marcom/ PR (relevant experience in the Colombo food industry will be considered a plus)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Computer skills an absolute necessity
- Legal work permit for the selected location is mandatory
