Competency - Fit

• Responsible for data management, analyzing performance, identifying problems and developing recommendations that support to improve and develop the process and systems in a cost effective manner in order to maintain the planned production efficiency and to increase productivity of the Group.

Duties

• Overseeing the Work Study Section to ensure that the industrial engineering techniques are adopted in the manufacturing process.
• Monitor the process of Selecting low performing operations, carrying out method studies, identifying areas for improvement, suggesting and implementing solutions to improve the efficiency level of low performing operations.
• Ensuring that proposed improvements are implemented by the Production Department and that planned targets are achieved.

Qualifications

• Should have a degree/diploma in Industrial Engineering from a recognized University/institution.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in the relevant field.
• Exposure to ISO 9000-2001 and 5S, Lean Manufacturing, ERPand obtaining GSD License would be an added advantage.
• Excellent command of communication in English and Computer Literacy.
