Whilst their core work is in PHP, they also do web and native mobile development, and this is a great chance to cross-skill.
A good work-life balance is encouraged, but occasionally a project may require that extra push. All the development is done at the North Sydney office, although some travel is involved when doing rollouts.
Technical:
- OO PHP 5 / Zend
- JavaScript / JQuery
- HTML/XHTML/CSS compliant standards
- Version Control, Git and GitHub
- Linux, including the command line
Non Technical:
- Understand the importance of a mission critical environment
- An excellent work ethic and a can-do attitude
- Strong written English and communication skills
- A talent for communicating ideas, issues and solutions in a team environment
- On-site role requiring travel
Nice-to-haves:
- TDD / BDD / Unit testing / Selenium
- Mobile development (native or web)
- Experience of Doctrine ORM
- Experience of HTML5
