Operations Manager
As those in charge of Operations, the Operations Managers will be responsible for the supervision of all activities connected to Bonding, clearance, Stuffing /De-stuffing of containerized cargo from the Port to the Ware-House and vise-versa and supervision of Human Resource involved in the operations division, and will directly be reporting to the Chairman and Board of Directors.
Requirements
- The Operations Managers should have a sound educational background and a minimum of 10-15 years experience in shipping and freight forwarding of which at least 05 years should have been in a similar position.
- They should have a good rapport with authorities in the Port, Airport and essentially Sri Lanka Customs.
- They should be pro-active and assertive,be computer literate and be willing to Travel extensively.
- Good communication(verbal and written) skills in English and Sinhala/Tamil is essential.
- Ideal age group is between 40-50 years of age.
Remuneration- The "right candidates" could expect an attractive salary package inclusive of a company maintained vehicle.
