DISTRICT MANAGER- Puttalam

Berendlna Employment Center (BEC) 
INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION OFFICER - (Colombo Head Office) 
• In charge of entire project planning, designing and implementation in Puttalam district • Identify and develop projects according to the Strategic Plan • Ensure achievement of project i mpacts and learning • Ensure effective management of budget allocated to the district • Monitoring, Documenting and Reporting • Responsible for liaison and coordination with all the key stakeholders in the District 
Qualification and Requirements: • A graduate or diploma holder in any discipline with at least two years experience, preferably in development sector. Preference will be given to the candidates who have similar experience. • Computer literacy and Flue, in English and Sinhala is a must • Ability to ride a motorbike • Age: Below 35 years 
REPORTING AND DOCUMENTATION OFFICER - Plantation Program 
Duty Station: Ginigathhena Job Profile: • Prepare Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Reports as necessary with the inputs from District Managers • Ensure that all information and data from the field is captured, documented, analysed and reported in a results- based and ti mely manner • Translate documents and reports as required • Develop case studies, stories and document the best process and lessons learnt • Develop and maintain dathbase of beneficiaries and activities. Qualification and Requirements: • A graduate or diploma holder in any discipline with at least two years experience in similar capacity • Computer literacy and high level of fluency in all three languages isa must • Ability to ride a motorbike if necessary 
PROJECT COORDINATOR Public Private Sector Partnership (PPP) : Anuradhapura Job Profile: • Primarily responsible for identification and implementation of Public- Private Sector partnership projects mainly in agriculture based value chains and be instrumental in executing the project along with the project team • Manages processes to prepare and finalize agreements for engagement with the private sector • Ensure performance of the project work plan, and make timely adjustments subject to agreement with all the parties to the project • Identify capacity issues of the stake holders and conduct training progams as necessary • Implement inland fisheries development projects with FOs Qualification and Requirements: • Bachelor Degree in Agriculture with at least 3 years working experience in similar capacity including Project Management. • Good analytical and problem solving skills and ability to adaptive management with prompt action on the conclusion and recommendations coming out from the project's regular monitoring. • Proven networking, team-building, organizational and communication skills and ability to work effectively with private sector. • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, focusing on impacts and results for the stakeholder and responding positively to feedback. • Strong written and spoken communication skills in English • Ability to ride motorbike 
Update vacancy information daily on BEC website through online portal. • Attend to generation of information on skills available in each district and share information among required agencies. • Organizing interviews and selection events in Colombo in coordination with different branches. • Act as focal point for receiving and sharing company vaca, information among branches. • Promote BEC activities to attract candidates and build relationships with candidates. • Assist in development of partnerships with employers and to liaise with employers. Qualifications and Requirements • Ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Information and Communication technology with minimum one year post qualifying experience in ICT , HTML and PHP • Experience in marketing, human resources or public relations related fields • Ability to maintain websites • Flue, in English • Age: Below 35 years 
DISTRICT MANAGERS (Puttalam, Anuradhaurapura and Trinco) : job Profile: • In charge of correct and proper implementation of the Employment Centre activities in the relevant districts. • Identification and registration of unemployed/underemployed youth, suitable vocational training institutes and potential employers. • Organize awareness creation, carrier guidance and counselling programs for youth in the districts in association with the government and other organizations. • Facilitate rural youth to find suitable vocational training opportunities and provide scholarships for poor students. • Develop linkages between potential employers and rural youth for them to find suitable employment • Liaise with key government officials (respective line agencies in districts) for conducting career guidance, counselling and job placement programs. Qualifications and Requirements • Graduates or diploma holder in any discipline with at least two years experience, preferably in the private sector or youth development sector. • Computer literacy and Fluency in English is a must • Ability to ride a motor bicycle • Age: Below 35 years
