We are looking for individuals to fill the following positions

SPONSER RELATIONS MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY Position will be responsible for leading and supervising the SR team in the implementation of organization-wide SR initiatives, policies and procedures, database processing and administration, and compliance to various operational standards. The post holder shall also support the establishment of clear linkage between program initiatives at the community level and the desired outcomes of sponsorship management. This position will be based in Colombo and internal travel within Sri Lanka will be required. QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE • 8 years' experience in the relevant field. (INGO sponsor relations experience is preferred) • Demonstrated experience with children and youth in a child development organization. • Good understanding of sponsorship operations and workflows, sponsorship programming, sponsorship policies and standards; • Proven supervisory skills and ability to work and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing with employees at all levels; • Strong decision making ability using good judgment and professionalism • Computer proficiency in general office software applications (i.e.Word, Excel,Outlook); • Demonstrated ability to lead through networks, build consensus with teams. • Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English; fluency in a local language Sinhala or Tamil required. EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS • Bachelor's or higher-level degree required. Equivalent relevant work experience maybe acceptable in lieu of degree.
TECHNICAL SPECIALIST - EDUCATION AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT
JOB SUMMARY To serve as a national office resource for the conceptualization, development, and support of the acquisition and technical quality of Education and Child Development programs, for Sri Lankan children between the ages of six to 15years. This position will be based in Colombo and internal travel within Sri Lanka will be required. QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE He/ She should have a strong understanding of social work models, knowledge of design new programs to address issues related to educational performance, development and protection of deprived, excluded and vulnerable children. Further he/she will serve as a national office resource for the conceptualization, development, and support of the acquisition and improving quality of Education and Child Development. • Deep practical understanding of the education sector including successful interventions and Child Development practice. • Experience in international development programs working to improve educational outcomes. • Knowledge of international theories and global examples of good practice. • Demonstrated diplomacy in building relationships and working with diverse cultures and audiences and sensitive situations and subject matter • Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English • Demonstrated experience in serving as a technical specialist in multi-cultural work environments focusing on program development and management • Demonstrated ability to represent and interact with donors, government officials, international organizations and NOD representatives • Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English; fluency in a local language Sinhala or Tamil required. EDUCATION • Bachelor's degree in Education,Child Development or any other related field
FINANCE ASSISTANT
JOB SUMMARY Responsible for providing support for record keeping of financial transactions and budget requirements This position will be based in Batticoloa. QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE • Five years' work experience in financial bookkeeping • Ability to work and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing in English and local languages. • Good understanding of administrative, financial and general management principles • Excellent problem solving skills; ability to analyze data, along with the capacity to accurately perform a variety of financial tasks by organizing and establishing priorities • Experience and proficiency on financial software and reporting systems • Ability to work independently and under pressure • Computer proficiency in general office software applications (i.e.Word,Excel,Outlook) EDUCATION • Bachelor's degree in business administration or accountancy. Equivalent relevant work experience maybe acceptable in lieu of degree.
