We also have Glass container manufacturing facilities in India & USA and marketing setup at Brazil & France . We are looking for young & performance oriented individuals to fill the below vacant positions existing at our glass manu-facturing plant at Ratmalna/ Horana with the attributes indicated hereunder.
MANAGER - ELECTRICAL
The primary responsibilities will include: He should be able to head the Electrical Division of this organization. He should be to pro-actively and safely maintain and repair all electrical equipment and to provide engineering support and facilitate minimum downtime and impact on manufacturing process.He will be responsible for Electrical maintenance and Power House Operation of the plant and also assist in the new innovative energy saving projects. For this position we are looking for dynamic, self-motivated and target oriented individual with proven track records and managerial skills, with high degree of commitment, dedication and integrity. The Candidate should be excellent team players with sound academic background and good communication skills.
Qualifications and attributes:
• Bachelor, Degree from a recognized university in the fields of Electrical. • 5 year experience in the field. • Experience in manufacturing environment will beta added advantage. • Sound IT back ground. • Leadership and team working skills. • Communication skills & interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in English and Sinhala. • High degree of commitment, dedication and integrity. • Age below 40 years.
ASSISTANT MANAGER — SECURITY & ADMINISTRATION Head Office
The primary responsibilities will include: The Protection and safety of the Movable and Immovable properties of this organization. Proper screening of people and vehicles entering and leaving the company premises ,accurately managing the weighbridge operations,maintaining high standards of cleanliness & housekeeping in the company premises, strict administration of outsourced security staff and the security function . Take all necessary steps to prevent theft, fire and unsafe practices in the Organization.Ability to conduct investigation and inquiries on accidents and incidents, initiating and promoting events to create security awareness within the organization while implementing company security policies and procedures, and maintaining a good rapport with Private and Public Sector institutions.
Qualifications and attributes:
• Ex Police / Armed service personnel with minimum of 5 years' experience in similar capacity will be given preference. • GCE A/L with minimum of 3 credits. • Ability to work on shift basis. • Possessing leadership and personal power. • Communication skills. • High degree of commitment, dedication and integrity. • Proficiency in English and Sinhala.
ASSISTANT MANAGER - HUMAN RESOURCE
He should have the conceptual knowledge and better understanding of modern HR tools , practices and hands on experi-ence in the field of HR and will include :Identifying the capabilities and competency gaps analysis and training the employees to meet the current and future needs of the organization,initiating succession planning programs for key positions, Setting KRAs of the staff and administering the performance management system of the organization, introducing employee engagement programs and ability to influence employees including managerial staff to achieve their goals will be an advantage.
Qualifications and attributes:
• Bachelor's degree a recognized university. ■ Self-starter and should be able to handle assigned functions accurately with minimum supervision. High degree of leadership , interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to liaise and mingle with people at all levels. Good command in MS Office and ERP systems. Knowledge on Accounting would bets added advantage. r Good command of both English & Sinhala Language (Written & Spoken). r Meeting deadlines. Able to shoulder additional responsibilities. • High degree of commitment, dedication and integrity.
MARKETING ASSISTINT
