A leading private members club in Colombo, which prides itself as being one of the most prestigious clubs in the country, intends to recruit the services of a dynamic and energetic professional to join its team as;

GENERAL MANAGER

As the General Manager you will report directly to the Management Committee of the Club, playing the lead role in all day to day activities including administration and finance and also being responsible for managing the club's team while delivering service par excellence to meet and exceed both member and guest expectations.

The person would be required to manage profitability and guest satisfaction measurement standards, specifically responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards;

0 Comply with and exceed industry nonns in service standards.

0 Ensure that revenue and profit targets of the club are met.

0 Ensure costs are controlled within allocated budgets.

0 To explore new revenue opportunities.

0 To implement plans relating to refurbishment, renovations and new developments.

0 Be responsible for business planthng, setting achievable budge., and outlining other short and long-term strategic objectives.

0 Evaluate and implement management processes that will improve productivity and overall efficiency in day to day operations.

0 Manage and develop the executive team to ensure career progression and effective succession planning.

0 Ensure all decisions made and actions taken are in the best interest of the club with the direction and concurrence of the Management Committee.

The ideal candidate to fill this role should;

0 have over 3 years experience in the hotel / leisure industry

0 possess a degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent

0 possess strong commercial acumen with a focus on business development

0 have experience in managing budge., driving revenue and forecasting

0 have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills

0 possess exceptional communication skills

An attractive monthly remuneration package NOT LESS THAN Rs. 250,000, together with other benefits awaits the ideal candidate
