In this all-important job, our new Operations Manager will take over a pivotal function that has kept a world-class operation on track, always! You will be our 'tote' man as you ease into a multi-faceted role under the intense pressure of an industrial operation running on the cutting-edge. The important deliverables are outlined below.

• Together with a dynamic management team, set KPI's or annual objectives teethe operations unit, monitor and ensure all departmental performance parameters are met which in turn fulfils the expectations of our international stakeholders

• Have controls of critical day-to-day operational functions, being on top of technical and commercial decisions which ensure a smooth flow of operations

• Review internal processes and recommend/implement enhancements (in coordination with others sections as appropriate) to bring about productivity improvements

• Lead, direct and motivate the team, monitor team performance and give feedback, ensure capabilities of the team meets present and future organizational requirements (through job-rotation, multi-skilling, training programs etc.) in order to build a high performance team

• BSc. Degree in Engineering/Production Management/Business Management with minimum 6 years' experience at a managerial level or diploma with 8 years' industry experience

• Post-graduate qualifications would be an added advantage

• Extensive experience in planning, production and logistics

• Good understanding of supply chains

• Flair for leadership and operational management

• Excellent communication skills including fluency in written and spoken English

Manager - Engineering - Ekala

Job Profile

In his multi-faceted role our new Manager— Engineering will take the lead in managing the overall cycle of new projects including planning, scheduling, recourse management and monitoring controls to ensure timely achievement of expectations. He will be responsible for the overall activities of the engineering section geared to respond to diverse organizational needs. The responsibilities also include liaising with internal departments and external suppliers, designing and monitoring new electrical and mechanical systems, managing the spare parts and consumables directory. Safety and health compliance, energy management, as well as, providing the leadership to support staff and preparation of timely reports and evaluations are also on the card.

Candidate Profile

• BSc .Engineering or Professional qualification with minimum 6 years' experience in the relevant filed or Diploma with 8 years' experience.

• Conversant in design software, formulation and evaluation software (SAP, MS Projects etc)

• Good knowledge in project formulation and evaluation

• Good knowledge in preparation of investment and maintenance budgets

• Capable of coordinating with internal and external parties, related to licensing, regulatory affairs and audits

Job Profile

Our new Executive — Quality Assurance will effectively spearhead the implementation of controlled procedures, specifications, instructions and application of documents relevant to quality. The individual will ensure proper functioning of quality gates while effecting corrective and preventive actions concerning non-compliance, customer complaints and internaVexternal audit findings. Responsibilities also include ensuring SPC and process capability analysis is carried out while defining quality enhancement programmes. This Executive will also carry out other tasks as delegated by the heads of the department.

Candidate Profile

• NDT ChemicaV Polymer Engineering/ Diploma in Rubber Technology/ Certificate Course in Rubber Technology

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Quality Inspection field
