At least 4+ years hands on experience as a full time DBA on SQL Server 2000.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 4+ years hands on experience as a full time DBA on SQL Server 2000.
- At least 2 years hands on experience as a full time DBA on SQL Server 2005 or SQL Server 2008.
- At least 2 years experience working as a Database Administrator on a 24/7 online database system with high volume of transactions is must.
- Good knowledge in SQL Server Integration Services and Reporting Services.
- Knowledge and experience of working on clustered SQL servers, Replication, Partitioning, Compression jobs, large Backups and Restores.
- Need to have very strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem solving skills to fix issues on a live system in a very short period of time.
- Strong T-SQL skills including experience working with complex stored procedures.
- Experience with SQL Sentry and Red Gate tools will be an added advantage.
- Fluency in written & spoken English is essential.
