Responsibilities :

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of information systems Diagnose hardware and software problems, and replace defective components.
• Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
• Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.
• Operate master consoles in order to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use.
• Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records.
• Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources.
• Hire and manage information systems personnel and contractors to design, develop, implement, Operate and administer computer and telecommunications software, networks and information Systems.
• Control the computer systems budgets and expenditures. Requirements.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience :

• Bachelor's degree in IT or any other related discipline.
• Microsoft / Cisco Certification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 3-4 years experience in same capacity.

Person Specifications :

• Should be a pleasant team player who is willing to work in an open-door culture.
• Ability to coach and develop colleagues and delegate accountability to encourage staff responsibility and engagement.
• Good planner with analytical and problem solving ability.
• Age preferably between 35 - 40 years.
