JOB PROFILE

• You will be responsible for monitoring of the Abacus LAN and WAN and communicating with Communication providers on related day to day matters of relevance
• You will be responsible for monitoring and resolving all Abacus travel agents’ reservation systems related issues & reporting back on same
• Liaising with computer vendors for hardware/software maintenance issues & ensuring that all customer queries and related problems are resolved within the shortest time possible
• Report and update all the technical issues to technical division head on daily basis

PERSON AND SKILLS PROFILE

As a Hardware Executive of Abacus you would be required to liaise with the Abacus customer base of travel agents and provide them with a superior customer service in all technical areas. Your role would also focus on trouble shooting as and when it arises. You would be involved in co-ordinating with telecommunication & solutions providers for new technology implementation and installations.

• Technical Skills and Interpersonal skills are imperative for this role.
• GCE 'A' level with a minimum of 2-3 years experience in a related field with considerable practical experience. Previous working exposure at a GDS will be an added qualification
• The ideal candidate should be 22 years of age and above.
• Recognized Professional qualification in a related field
• Fair knowledge of English language
• Good knowledge of Microsoft products (Windows Xp, Windows7, Windows 2003/2008 and SQL Database)
• Good knowledge of  Router configuration (CISCO and Allied Telesyn)
• Good knowledge of Firewall & ADSL Router configuration
• Possess Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Lively character, be Very customer service oriented and a people person
