We are looking for a dynamic finance professional to hold the position of Head of Finance in a reputed listed and registered Finance company owned by two large corporate, in the financial services Industry.

The Role

• Developing a strong finance division which aligns all operations for overall finan­cial management and to provide strategic input to the top management in achiev­ing overall organizational goals
• Supervision and overall responsibility of all finance functions covering finance operations, accounting, payments, GL reconciliations functions for the company Supervision and overall responsibility of the timely submission of MIS to both top management and external regulators/stakeholders Ensure that the internal controls on finance activities are managed within the DAs of the company
• Act as the compliance officer for the company and ensure strict compliance with all regulatory requirements and corporate governance reporting Ensure proper books of accounts are maintained for the company and supervi­sion on timely completion of GL reconciliations
• Provide timely financial information and strategic input related to all financial transactions of the company with analysis on performance management Provide strategic input for the decision making and long term planning process of the company
• IFRS compliance

The Profile

• A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ACA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK) (CIMA) or Association of Chartered certified Accountants (UK) (ACCA)
• An Accounting Degree or MBA would be an added advantage
• Age between 30 to 45
• Post qualifying experience in a finance related function for 10 years with 3-5 years in a senior capacity. Preferably, financial services related experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
