PEAK operates in over 16 countries and own around 20 brands which are market leaders in US, UK and Australia. PEAK is head quartered in Melbourne, but is partially owned by TUI travel which is a Europe based travel giant. Supporting the PEAK structure SUMMIT provides the global IT support for PEAK by maintain and enhancing the Enterprise IT Systems.
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a CAN DO ATTITUDE and excellent problem solving and analytical skills to work with the project development team in Melbourne to undertake development tasks to enhance the application and provide necessary support.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Develop assigned modules and fix application defects in a timely manner
- Carryout development tasks associated with projects
- Deliver the tasks on time to meet support SLAs
- Preparing and maintaining documentation
Qualifications and Experience
- Mandatory Requirements
- A B.Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- 4+ years' experience in design and development of n-tier enterprise system
- Experience using .NET with ASP.Net, C# and SQL Server 2005
- Experience with web services and .NET 2.0 Framework
- Exposure to.NET 3.0 Framework, WCF and WPF
- Obtain MCP Certification
Skills and Attributes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and personal productivity skills
- Ability to interact with business and other technical resources effectively
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a team environment
Other Requirements
- Exposure in 00 design and development as well as relational database expertise
- Experience with Crystal Reports or similar reporting framework
