Senior UI Engineer/Web Developer UK Based Firm

We are on the lookout for a top qualified Senior UI Engineer/Web designer for a British Based firm in Sri Lanka. The candidate needs to carry minimum 2 years experience from a well established organization. You will be the senior most Web Designer and if you have experience in leading a small team that would be an added advantage for you. You will have to deal with clients overseas and understand their requirements and creatively design to suit their need. You will have to be dedicated and punctual. Meeting deadlines is vital. Your knowledge in Scripting, Flash and Action Script 3.0, HTML 5(working Experience) PHP, .NET Joomla and other web Technologies. We need you to be creative and free thinking. Overseas experience will be an added advantage.

•  Work Days – Monday to Friday

Duties

• Develop browser based application using described technologies. 
•  Work with UX lead to develop consistent and high-quality look/feel/function pages.
• Work with web-server architect and developers to integrate pages into application
• Ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time, with good communication and organization skills is a must
• Working together with the client-server team to design the client-server support for new features.
• Meet Deadlines
• Perform complete testing of Web applications unit and system, engaging users as necessary.
• Conduct all user acceptances testing, and report results.
•  Design and implement user-driven templates, databases and interfaces for ease of use.
• Develop database-driven Web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing.
• Develop external Web portals allowing users to input and retrieve accurate information.
• Candidate must be a team player and willing to teach and to learn.

Ideal Candidate 

• Minimum Experience of 2 years at a recognized organization
• Exceptional scripting skills .NET (C#)
• Firsthand working knowledge in, Flash, Java Script, Action Script 3.0, HTML 5, PHP , Ajax  and Joomla
• You can handle a team
• Experience with Adobe Flash
• Experience with online digital media including HD video and digital compression technologies
• Experience with Drupal
• Knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
• You are a creative person and have a passion for web development
