Acnet Technologies (Pvt) Ltd is a well established Sri Lankan IT solutions development company.We are seeking well qualified, experienced and energetic candidates with below QA skills to fill our immediate QA vacancies.
The Job
- Define Test Strategy for new projects and maintenance releases
- Identify unique use cases to ensure that all functional requirements of the system are captured during the design phase.
- Review design documentation to ensure that the stated requirements are correct, unambiguous, and verifiable.
- Developing and maintaining software test plans and validation procedures.
- Create and maintain functional test cases; Responsible for test execution
- Responsible for maintaining and triaging bugs in a tracking system. Responsible for collecting, tracking and analyzing QA metrics
- Drive automated testing. This includes setup and management of automated test framework(s)
- Implement, support and improve tools for continuous build, automated testing, and release management
- Work with business/ users to troubleshoot issues
- Work closely with the Project Manager to provide updates on QA progress in a periodic manner.
The Experience Needed
- 3 years of experience in software QA, and a strong understanding of effective QA processes
- Strong debugging and analytical skills
- Understanding of software architectures
- Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate issues and escalate when required in an effective manner.
- Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects in parallel.
- Experience testing web based Javascript/Oracle applications will be an added advantage.
- Ability to maintain a test environment and test data and troubleshoot issues encountered in a test environment
- Strong design, coding, and debugging skills is a plus - Able to participate in code reviews as
- well as debug issues by looking at the source code.

- Strong understanding of source code version control systems
