Our Client, A Large Manufacturing Company is on the look out for a business oriented Head of IT to lead the  company's technology vision initiatives in sales, sourcing, logistics,distribution, retail and network infrastructure.Additionally, the Head of IT:

•  Provides strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the information and technology systems.
•  Facilitates communication between staff, management, vendors, and other technology resources within the company.
•  Oversees the back office computer operations of the affiliate management information system, including local area networks and wide-area networks.
•  Develops and implements user-training programs.
• Oversees and evaluates system security and back up procedures.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

•  Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience of which 4 years in a similar capacity serving as the senior technical advisor for the management team.
•  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. A Masters degree in Business Administration or related field is highly desirable.
•  Significant experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.
•  Experience Implementing Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse systems.
•  Strategic IT planning and budgeting expertise.
•  Understanding of Logistics and Distribution processes in Retail systems.
• The ideal candidate should posses strong project management experience with leadership and interpersonal skills
