Neetovate is a UK based, technology company that specialises in turning website ideas into profitable businesses. Consisting of a full service software development department and a back office team, our current focus is Simplified Recruitment, a recruitment company that is revolutionising the UK recruitment market. We are expanding our technical team to work on both exciting new greenfield projects along with existing projects, and are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us achieve our goals. We are looking for someone who is comfortable defining code development practices and a high level architecture which ensures that high quality code is developed quickly, runs fast, well tested and usable.

The successful candidate will have 3 years minimum commercial experience within a .NET environment, however some experience in other coding systems such as Java / C++ / LAMP would be an advantage. You will need to be able to coach more junior team members to help them improve and develop their skills.

The successful candidate will have the following technical skills:

• 3 years minimum commercial experience
• Fully proficient in .NET 3.5 or later, C# & ASP.NET
• SQL Server 2005/2008, TSQL
• Web Services/SOAP
• HTML 4.01/XHTML/CSS
• JavaScript/JQuery/ ASP.NET AJAX Control Toolkit
• OOP/OOAD
• Hands on Test Driven Development
• Strong usability focus
• Experience in Agile / Scrum. Waterfall considered if exceptional track record
• Experience in configuring IIS 6.0 / 7.0, SMTP Services, Server configuration and management

In addition to the above skills candidates must have:

• Team leadership, mentoring and organisational skills
• Experience in designing complex systems, and demonstrable implementations using resources at hand
• Experience in defining the full software development life-cycle, implementing QA and deployment processes
• Strong problem solving, analytical, self-motivation, a willingness to learn and develop and appreciation of code elegance
• Strong innovative spirit

This is a permanent full time role with full flexibility in working hours, with the requirement of being on call for emergencies during UK working hours (9am - 5pm GMT) Monday to Friday.
