Job Responsibilities

• Define test methods and support the lead to create test plans for new or updated software projects to        determine if the software will perform accurately and reliably according to documented requirements as  well as established standards under both normal and abnormal conditions.
• Execute test plans and create test reports to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction.
• Reproduce bug reports from the field and write clear steps to reproduce
• Verify the load, scalability, and performance requirements have been met
•  Work with developers to perform root-cause analysis and preliminary problem diagnosis.
• Track and report upon testing activities, including testing results, test case coverage, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines, etc.
•  Ensure content and structure of all Testing documents / artifacts is documented and maintained      

Requirements

•  Computer Science or Software Engineering Qualifications.
• 2+ years’ experience as a QA Engineer.
• Experience in testing a public facing website (mandatory).
• Experience in testing websites based on content management systems (exposure to Drupe will be an advantage).
•  Experience in load and scalability testing using automated testing tools
•  Ability to prepare test plans for load and scalability testing of public websites.
• Thorough knowledge of structured test methods and processes
• Experience in testing both windows and v/eb based applications.
