Pronto Software is a well-established Australian owned, Software Company with an international marketplace. We develop business management software for multiple segments in the current vivid market which ranges from Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)to Business Analytics and Business Intelligence.
Currently we are looking for highly energetic, enthusiastic and professional people for our newly established development centre in Colombo. We are looking for Software Engineers who are willing to go that extra mile to make things happen.
What we are after
- Experience in developing and deploying a variety of business applications, preferably under multiple platforms and architectures
- In depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including an appreciation of Agile development methods
- A highly analytical approach to problem solving and an ability to apply lateral thinking techniques to such problems
- An ability to find the most expedient and appropriate method to solve a software problem while minimising risk
- A capacity to absorb, process and share Knowledge
Ideal candidate will posses
- A degree in Information Technology or in a related field
- 2+ years of development experience with a business software preferably an ERP
- Knowledge in Financials, Distribution, Sales and Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management or Facility Management
- 2+ years of experience in Java, J2EE, Web Services or other EAI frameworks
- Hands on experience in Web and Mobile development technologies including
- HTML5, CSS3, Java script, Ruby, Bootstrap, Phonegap, jQuery and other mobile application development frameworks
- Experience in working with Oracle, IDS, SQL Server or other well-known RDBMSs
