This role would be responsible for graphic designing and development of appropriate copywriting for all internal and external publishing material of the company, whilst ensuring all creatives are of high quality.

Responsibilities

• To work closely with respective stakeholders thereby participate in requirements gathering and analysis of activities to understand their needs and to create appropriate graphics whilst delivering high quality work in optimum time.
• Establish strong relationships across departments and understand client needs, the consumer experience, marketing strategy and operational capabilities
• Thereby work closely with the sales, marketing (brand team and product heads) and customer service teams to craft visually appealing designs and artwork for all internal and external communication initiatives and to finalize appropriate content
• Accordingly design appropriate artwork for all print communications and advertisements (posts, banner ads etc) and creation of standardized templates for publishing material
• Develop artwork for outdoor projects (events), other ad hoc responsibilities and projects in support of the sales and marketing teams
• Write all copy to support consumer communication efforts -Develop unique, new concepts as per Product Heads' / Brand Team's advise

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience with graphic design and copywriting
• Highly creative and imaginative (originality)
• Ability to articulate design concepts and solutions verbally and in various written documents as necessary
• Proficient in developing software tools needed to complete design projects successfully, whilst keep abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Corel, Illustrator, Flash, Ajax, Flex, Dreamweaver, QuarkXPress, FreeHand, 3ds Max, Acrobat, Director, Flash and good knowledge of Web design, graphics, illustrations, development and computer-aided design (CAD)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Sinhala & Tamil (Mandatory)

• Confidence to present and explain ideas to clients and colleagues
• Ability to pick up, learn fast, work independently and under minimum supervision
• Ability to pick up industry nuances and to study products or services to decide the main
• selling features thereby to plan and write headlines and text in such a way as to appeal to the people most likely to buy the product
• Ability to work on several projects at a time in a fast-paced and a dynamic environment
• Attention to detail

Qualifications:

• A Degree or Diploma in Art/Graphic Design/Creative Multimedia/ Advertising/Mass Communications/Journalism or equivalent
• At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in a related field
•  Excellent skills in graphics software
•  Excellent command of both written and spoken languages in English, Sinhala and Tamil (mandatory)
• Creative, hardworking, able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Experience in online marketing would be beneficial
