Ltd is the one & only yoghurt company achieved SLS quality certificate in Sri Lanka, offering customers a range of milk products, such as yoghurt, pasteurized milk as well as the fresh fruit drinks and fulfilling the diverse needs of all segments, is now looking for dynamic and competent individuals, who have the ability and commitment to work in a challenging corporate environment and fill the position of IT Systems Administrator.
The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for all aspects of systems administration including applications and databases. This includes implementation, configuration, coordination, control, maintenance, troubleshooting, security, usage and performance monitoring and the development of specialized system procedures.
- Administration of SQL2005, Windows 2003 Servers/Exchange 2003 and Active Directory.
- Monitoring system performance and take necessary actions to optimize.
- Ensure all necessary updates and patches ate tested and implemented in a timely manner.
- Ensure system backup procedures are implemented and completed in a timely manner as per agreed policies.
- Ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems and related procedures adhere to organizational values.
- Install and configure Desktop & Server Hardware & Software.
- Issue management and resolution via the IT Help Desk.
- Support and Development of the IT infrastructure and systems.
- Escalate technical queries through the agreed path whilst retaining ownership of the issue.
- Provide accurate solutions to support issues.
- Ensure accurate and detailed records are kept of issues and resolutions.
- Provide out of hours support where required.
Key Competencies:
- A proven technical background in Desktop & Server installation and administration within a busy and demanding Microsoft Windows environment.
- Have solid experience working with Windows Server 2003, Exchange 2003 and Active Directory implementing policies and monitoring solutions.
- Storage experience.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, customer focused and a good problem solver.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in Networking .
- High degree of literacy, analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to be a team player within a busy IT support environment.
- Experience working in a change control environment.
Experience and Qualifications:
- IT related Degree or Higher Diploma with 3yr+ experience in similar role or a minimum of 3 years experience in a windows server administration role.
- Proven experience Administrating Windows 2003/Exchange 2003 Servers and Active Directory.
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Win 2003 / XP / Vista / Win 07 administration, Exchange and Group Policy.
- Knowledge of SQL Server 2005.
- Microsoft Accredited Certification.
- CCNA Certification.
