We are a British Information Technology solutions provider looking for a passionate SEO specialist to join our rapidly growing service delivery team based at our global service delivery center in Colombo.

THE ROLE

As a SEO specialist you should have a proven understanding of search engine optimization techniques, tends and the enthusiasm to take a challenging position in a rapidly growing business. Your key responsibility will be to improve our page rankings by practicing white hat SEO techniques by studying and optimizing keywords to drive organic traffic to our web sites ensuring maximized conversion rates. You should have experience in developing and executing campaigns, content management systems, Social media sites and integrations, Google analytics and web masters tools etc. The ideal candidate should be a well-organized, self-starting and proactive person with extensive experience in the search engine marketing industry.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE….

Duties & Responsibilities

• Research and implement SEO optimization strategies and updates, including link building.
• Analyze web site KPI’s and search engine rankings to measure and improve upon performance
• Driving traffic to increase click through rate and conversion rates
• Uncover trends in data and analysis, advising on recommendations for further actions
• Developing marketing strategies for social media accounts and ensure that all digital and online channels are performing effectively and are delivering the same message.
• Recommend and implement SEO processes.
• Monitor online visitor activity and report findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Reporting campaign performance to senior management
• Assist in all other SEO activity when requirement arises

Qualifications/Experience

• BSc in IT or related field
• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a similar role managing multiple SEO and social media campaigns
• An excellent understanding of white hat SEO techniques and Google quality guide lines
• Excellent knowledge in executing online marketing campaigns
• Excellent knowledge in Google analytics and web masters tools
• Strong skills in HTML5, CSS, XML, DHTML and knowledge in W3C standards
• Strong skills in CMS platforms, Drupal, Joomla
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to details
• Excellent reporting skills
• Excellent communication skills in English is a must.
