SOS Children’s Villages Sri Lanka, a member organization of SOS Kinderdorf International, provides total care to the children who have lost their parents as well as the children who are at risk of losing the care of their biological families. The organization has well established Projects in Piliyandala, Nuwara Eliya, Galle, Anuradhapura, Monaragala, Batticaloa, Gandara, Peraliya & Jaffna and invites applications from highly committed individuals who meet the requisite qualifications for the following positions.

 

Candidates for this position should have a Diploma in Social work from National Institute of Social Development and possess training /experience in teaching, Sports & educational activities, career guidance, child psychology, counseling and youth services. Duties will include the development of children’s/youth’s educational programs, assisting and guiding to resolve personal, social or psychological problems faced by children/youth , conducting study programs and liaison work with school principals and teachers.

 

High degree of proficiency in MS office packages and should demonstrate report writing and analytical skills.

 

This position is residential
