- JDC Graphic Systems (Pvt) Limited: The leading service provider for the flexography industry in Sri Lanka.
- Unifold (Pvt) Limited: Pioneers int he exclusive designing and production of diary covers, notebooks and albums.
we invited applications from qualified individuals for the post of senior Accountant.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate should have a good command in English and excellent communication skills in local languages.
- Posses a full qualification from a reputed professional accounting body, preferably from ICASL.
- Preferred age above 28 years with a minimum of 5 years experience in the Accounts department.
- Experience in SAP/SAGE ACCPAC would be of an added advantage.
The senior Accountant will be responsible for the Following:
- Establish, maintain and co-ordinate the implemntation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
- Finalisation of monthly and year end accounts.
- Preparation, evaluation, justification and maintenance of budgets and budgetary controls.
- Prepare a variety of detailed acccounting, statistical and narrative financial reports requiring analysis and interpretation by the managment.
- Ascertainment of VAT, NBT, ESC& Income Tax and maintain upto date knowledge on chages in tax law.
- Co-ordinate with other departments of the company and effectively manage the functions of the finance dividion while keeping in line with all policies and procedures.
- Ability to deal with external bodies such as Auditors, Banks, Financial Institutions, Inland Revenue and other relevant statutory authorities.
