SOURCING EXECUTIVE

We are on the look-out for a competent ‘Sourcing Executive’ for our client, a reputed Telecommunications company based in Colombo. 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing & executing the local sourcing strategies that deliver a competitive advantage driving the strategic supplier initiatives
• Driving improvements in sourcing processes including escalations due to delivery/quality issues, invoicing/payables issues, and data base management.
• Managing negotiations with suppliers and providing required manpower providers and service providers to make sure the smooth work environment and target timeline.
• Regular monthly reporting and capacity to identify the performance level of the suppliers
• Planning and implementing relevant actions to meet the competent level or escalating relevant actions to meet the business demand.
• Managing the cost competitiveness, delivery, performance quality, financial impact and non-financial impacts with a good communication and coordination with the Head of Department based on company rules and regulations.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Male candidates around the age of 40 years
• Good communication skills, both written and oral in English and Sinhala.
• Good technical, financial, management and social skills.
• Pleasant, self-motivated, team player, customer oriented and with a strong commitment to excellence.
• Creative in problems solving and able to give solutions and recommendations.
• Good knowledge of the implementation processes and the internal routines and practices within the company.
• Good relationship with Government Departments and Authorities
• Good knowledge of the concept of sourcing management and its overall objectives.
• Competent in planning, organizing, project implementation management and controlling the project group.
• Able to influence, motivates and develops subordinates in achieving the objectives of the project.
• Salary will be negotiable
