We are now seeking proactive individuals to head the finance and accounting function to be stationed at our Naula and Marawila plants.

With 10 plants, over 6000 employees and an annual turnover in excess of Rs. 9 billion, Orit has plans of expansion to meet the increasing global demand for high quality denim wear and venture in to new sectors with high potential. It is with this view that we have decided to attract dynamic and intelligent individuals to join the winning team at Orit to take the company to greater heights.
We are now seeking proactive individuals to head the finance and accounting function to be stationed at our Naula and Marawila plants.
Key responsibilities would encompass functions including submission of monthly accounts, preparation of plant budget and driving performance against it, proactively identifying cost improvements, overall responsibility for plant profitability and submission of information to managemnt as and when required
The ideal candidates should be either partly or fully qualified in either CIMA, ICASL or with a recognized accounting degree and possess at least 3 years' experience in a similar capacity. Strong inter-personal skills, analytical skills, ability to grasp business and technical issues and industry trends and computer literacy especially in MS Office are prerequisites.
