Adherence to financial policies and procedures of the company;Responsible for the financial aspects of the business plans and budgetary control functions of the company;
Our Client is one of the largest telecommunication service providers in Sri Lanka. They are seeking a candidate who can be a key part of the seenior management team; He /She will be the main driver for overall financial strategy and play a lead role in business performance of the company. Candidate will oversee the full spectrum of financial management and operations; ensure compliance with corporate and statutory requirements; continuous review of current practices to driove sustainable improvement, efficiencies and cost optimisation. He/ She will provide leadership and guidance to the finance function and partner with cross functional groups to understand the key business drivers, operational control and trends to contribute in capitalizing on market opportunities.
He / She will report to Group Chief Executive Officer
Prerequisites:
- Membership in ICASL / CIMA/ ACCA preferably with an MBA;
- track record of financial managemnt at the senior executive level over 10 years experience;
- Successful track record of change management;
- Possess strong commercial acumen and a broad strategic perspective;
- Resilient leader with excellent interpersonal skills;
- Exposure to the rules and regulations of the Stock Exchange.
Key Tasks:
- Adherence to financial policies and procedures of the company;
- Responsible for the financial aspects of the busines plans and budgetary control functions of the company;
- Internal and external financial reporting;
- Implementation of strategic financial and operational management information systems and effective treasure management of investment portfolios;
- Managing and coordinating with financial institutions;
- Provide strategies to improve stakeholder value;
- general administraion, management and coordination of functional departments within the finance division.
