Assistant Manager - Retail & SME Credit (Embilipitiya Branch)

Experience & Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years experience in a Bank / Financial institution with exposure to Retail & SME Credit
• Hands on experience in preparing Credit Proposals

OR

• A minimum of 4 years experience in a Bank / Financial institution with exposure to Retail & Credit
• Hands on experience in preparing Credit Proposals
• Part qualification in Banking (Completion of Certificate level of Banking Examination - CBF) or CIMA/CIM/ACA/ACCA (Completion of the 2nd stage)

Special Skills

• Excellent analytical and report writing skills in order to write detailed credit proposals independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic skills in Sales
• Fair understanding of Trade Finance and Treasury Operations. Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Good knowledge of NTB Pawning credit policy & Pawning Operations Guidelines

Job Profile

• Analyzing and evaluating of financial statements and identifying financial solutions based on the clients’ requirements
• Preparing Credit Proposals as per Bank’s Credit Policy
• Undertaking customer visits/inspections
• Reviewing & monitoring the existing portfolio on a periodic basis.
• Completion of the security documentation within stipulated timelines and lodgment of documentation with Credit Administration/Disbursement Department
• Supervise the Pawning operations of the Branch
