Skills and abilities

• General testing skills and understanding of the QA concepts.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with windows and Linux based environments.
• Experience in designing and writing test automation scripts (selenium 2.0)
• Experience in working with the AMP stack (Linux, apache, mysql, PHP) will be an added advantage.
• SQL & Relational Database Management Skills
• Web technologies: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX

Primary duties and responsibilities

• Define and execute test scenarios
• Automation of regression tests,
• Conduct performance and load, security, and usability testing cycles.

Education and/ or experience

• Degree in computer science or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Experience in test automation tools, performance testing and HCI will be an added advantage.
• ISTQB certification(s) will be an added advantage.
• Quality assurance Engineer: A minimum or 2 years experience in software Testing or exceptional academic performance.
