An International Non-Governmental Organization requires a Gender Eqia;otu Consultant from 1st April to 31st December 2013 to support its gender programming. The position will be based in Colombo. The consultant will have:
- A Master's Degree in Gender Studies, Sociology, Social Work, Anthropology or a related discipline;
- Ten years experience in planning, developing and implementing gender strategies;
- Significant experience (over five years) in designing, developing and facilitating gender anddevelopment training;
- Competency in gender audits, gender strategy development, gender action planning, facilitating gender training and documenting and reporting gender results;
- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, leadlership, verbal communication, writing and reporting skills;
- Fluency in English, Shinhala, and Tamil.
