THE ROLE:

As a senior web application engineer you will be responsible for design, development and maintaining the company’s e-commerce web application based on Drupal platform and other system integrations between company’s hosted applications and internal IT systems. You will be involved in every aspect of the development cycle from design to architecture to implementation as we scale the applications by integrating new technology and social mechanisms. We are looking for result driven individuals who loves coding and technology and a high level of commitment to their work. The ideal candidate should be willing to adapt in to new technologies quickly and is a good team player with leadership skills.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE...

Duties & responsibilities:

• Working with in a team to develop applications throughout their life cycle from design, development, testing, deployment, operation, user training and support.
• Using special knowledge and experience of complex business rules, framework infrastructure and cluster scalability.
• Tackle challenging functional and technical problems.
• Working with other team members in accomplishing business objectives.
• Ensuring the stability and availability of application.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant company standards and guidelines

Qualifications & Experience:

• BSc/MSc in computer science or Software Engineering.
• 5-6 years’ experience in PHP application development.
• Very strong understanding of HTML5, CSS, XML, DHTML, Jquery, Ajax, JavaScript, web services
• Very Strong skills in MySQL, Drupal platform, UBERCART
• Excellent knowledge in web services frameworks (Apache Axis, CodeIgnitor, .net)
• Experience in C#.Net, ASP.Net, J2EE would be an advantage
• Experience in SQL server 2005,2008
• Very good understanding on client side Java Scripting.
• Strong business domain modeling skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English are a must.
• Average skills in Graphics and UI development
