APPLICAION SUPPORT ENGINEER (02)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Application Support Engineers who can become a member of   our                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Banking Solutions Support team. This team is responsible for providing day-to-day support for our Customized Banking Solutions & Document Management Solutions (document scanning archiving) installed across banking and financial institutions in Sri Lanka Seeking resolution to production support issues. The team interfaces with internal and 3rd party technical teams to determine the nature of software application problems, and isolate/drive issues to resolution.

  • DMS –Imago Cheque Imaging and Truncation Solution
  • Document Management & Workflow Management Solution
  • Customized systems for Banks
  • (CRIB, Deposit Insurance, Customs Remittance and other Systems)

Job Description:

  • Provide primary administration and support for Application Software Solutions.
  • Communicate and coordinate application installation, upgrades and resolution of issues with end-customers
  • Provide support with integration and custom development efforts for customers
  • Work with product team members/principals to troubleshoot problems reported by customers
  • Escalate unresolved issues to management

Qualification:

  • Degree in Information Management /Systems/Technology. Having a part business related qualification such as CIMA would be an added advantage

Experience: 1-2 Years

Required skills/ Competencies:

  • Domain Knowledge of Financial Services Industry/Banking Industry
  • Experience in Windows Server 2003 & 2008
  • Knowledge in Web servers(IIS 6+, Apache) Windows Client (XP, Win 7 & 8)
  • Strong  written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Strong customer – service orientation
