The Job:
You will be responsible in working with the Head of ICT and Solutions Architect to drive IT projects with technical leadership and hands on development. You will have the ability to troubleshoot performance and other issues that might arise during the course of developing solutions. You will work in partnership with the Solutions Architect in leading the architecture, design, and implementation of IT solutions, integrating standard solutions and custom hardware and software components. You will have the ability to collect and develop business requirements, acknowledging the solution platform and will formulate strategies and methods in coordination with the solution Architect to gather functional requirements and capture them in standard notations like use cases.
You will plan, allocate and monitor development work to the internal ICT team and staff augmented resources obtained from leading IT software houses in Sri Lanka and improve the technical competence of the team through training & development of existing and new team members.
The person:
You will have minimum 3-5 years of experience in the IT industry and minimum 2 years of experience in leading a team and providing technical guidance. You will have experienced in project estimation techniques, architecture and design patterns, and performance engineering.
You will demonstrate facility to collect and develop business requirements, acknowledging the solution platform. You will be proficient in .NET development skills C#, WWF, WPF, Web Services, AJAX, HTML, CSS and ASP .NET , Visual Studio, Silverlight, TFS,VSS,ASP,OOPS concepts.
Having a sound technical experience with MS SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2008 R2 & 2012 databases including writing stored procedures, SSRS development, use of T-SQL and SSIS will be advantageous.
You will possess solid analytical skills for complex problem solving and proven ability to absorb, master and leverage.
