Solutions Provider, looking for exceptional staff to join our dynamic

Team based at our Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Colombo

THE ROLE:

The IT Systems/ Infrastructure Service Desk is and integral part of the organization. It is the backbone through which the organization operates across. This business unit comprises of highly skilled individuals who are dedicated to their service objectives.

You will be part of this team and as a Technical Support Analyst you will be one of the pillars in your team, mentoring, monitoring and guiding the team members to reach their potential.

Your core function requires you to use effective communication, technical, and analytical skills to manage service requests, provide support including maintenance and upgrading of resources, assign staff to resolve operational issues and within delegated authority, supervisee support personnel.

THE IDEAL PERSON WILL HAVE:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in System Support, Administration and Project Management
  • Capacity planning & resource management skills
  • Strong organizing and problem solving skills that include the ability to respond to urgent client requests as well as devise and implement strategies to achieve delivery objectives
  • Experience in managing client expectations by directly liaising with them
  • The ability to create, plan and track work orders
  • To synchronize work orders with service requests, create tasks, handle assignments and monitor support staff activity involved in resolving

He / She will be:

  • Self-motivated with the ability to priorities, manage multiple tasks and work under minimum supervision
  • A strong team player with the ability to motivate and empower staff to deliver high quality service
  • Extremely customer focus and oriented
