Project Manager:

You will be responsible to drive assigned projects to successful completion by engaging in the project tasks of various cross - functional groups that contribute to the delivery of the project objectives and goats ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to agreed quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Online Software Development project activities for multiple projects across all project phases, including initiation, planning execution, monitoring, control and closure
•  Work collaboratively with development team, lead architect and the president to determine technical direction and approach to system design and implementation
• Create, manage and track project vehicles, including, but not limited to:

•Project schedules

•Detailed project plans

•Project scope statements

•Cost estimates

•Resource plans

•Risk and issues logs

•Status reports

• Tailor project management, development and support processes to meet the needs of new and/or ongoing projects
• Manage the day-to-day activities of projects and staff; communicate with project teams as necessary to ensure project deliverables are on schedule and within cost parameters
• Communicate and collaborate internally and externally as needed in regards to project deliverables including man aging expectations, presenting and interfacing with stakeholders
• Make decisions and communicate trade-offs and risks ;drive key decisions across projects
• Make recommendations to management about schedules, prioritization, resource allocation and risks with input from team members.
• Provide ongoing project plan/status reporting for use by account managers, clients and management
• Play a Strategic Role by

                        •Providing estimates and quotes of projects in terms of work time required etc.

                        •Manage resource planning and organizational capacity planning

                        •Implementing and managing interventions to achieve project outputs

                        •Coach and train project team members on Software Development processes and best Practices

Requirements:

• At least 4 year(s) of working experience as project manager

              •Experience of managing projects from planning to closing or deployment (end-to-end including significant experience managing client server or web system programming projects)

• Proven “delivery” mentality at the project level
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Manage stakeholders expectations
• Ability to be broadly focused and manage multiple effort concurrently
• Strong inter-personal skills adaptable to audience
• Strong conflict resolution, negotiating and influencing skills
• Technical competence with MS Office Suites (Outlook, Word, excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project)

Competencies that will be advantageous:

• Familiarity with development methodologies preferably with agile methodologies
• Exposure in Web Applications is an advantage (Java, J2EE, Web Technologies)
• PMP certification or relevant professional certification
