Position Purpose & Objectives

 

Coordinate with the Chairman and handle his office work including financial and accounting issues. Act as an Executive Assistant to Chairman ensuring the documents are handled according to his standards and instructions.

Main Activities / Responsibilities

 

Secretarial

  • Carry out the entire secretarial work entrusted by the Chairman adhering to strict deadlines and targets.
  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments, exercising discretion in time commitments.
  • Arrange appointments, visits, travel related works.
  • Follow up matters of importance with the concerned people in order to continuously improve the work efficiency of the Chairman’s Office
  • Maintain files and confidential records.
  • Ensure payment and cash receipts are properly recorded and accounted for and maintain books of account for the various business entities.
  • Manage the petty cash float and ensure periodic payments are paid on time.
  • Prepare payment vouchers and cash receipts.
  • Coordinate with banks and financial institutions when needed.

 

 

Experience / Educational Requirement

 

 

1.     Ideal hold of a degree or diploma in business, HR, finance or equivalent.

2.     Experience in use of MsOffice Applications as well as other financial accounting packages.

3.     Understanding of accounting concepts and finance related works.

4.     Good spoken and written English skills.

5.     Ability to work to tight deadlines.

6.     Good organizational skills.

7.     Ability to type business letters in English

8.     Ability to work with a minimum of supervision.

9.     Good managerial skills.

 

 

Apart from the above Activities, the Management may assign you any other specific duties & responsibilities due to exigencies of the service.
