Vacancy – Investment Research Analysts

Our client is one of the largest global research companies, specializing in providing investment research for a rich clientele including  global investment banks, institutional investors, and hedge funds.

Competency-fit

As the Investment Research Assistant, you are expected to be a person with strong work ethics, attention to detail, and ability to work to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

·         Follow global industries/markets and analyze multinational companies to enable our clients to make sound investment decisions.

·         Independently conduct background research and document the findings and conclusions in the form of investment research reports.

·         Build and maintain financial models and generate forecasts as an integral part of the analysis.

·         Write coverage, and earnings, reports supported by background research, make forecasts and comment on valuations.

Eligibility

To be successful you will need to possess:

·         A first class degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics and/or professional qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA, ICSL, or CFA.

·         (Candidates with degrees/qualifications in other disciplines with excellent communication skills will also be considered)

·         Ability to independently write concise and crisp investment reports.

·         Experience in writing reports on economic or financial research topics.

·         The ability to quickly learn and adopt different writing styles, work independently and, meet deadlines under pressure.

·         In depth knowledge of capital markets and above average knowledge.

Candidates with experience in the local investment research field, wanting international exposure will have an added advantage.
