Supply Chain Buyer

The Job: As a Buyer in Supply Chain, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for the purchases relating to a specific department. Your key responsibilities will include driving supplier service levels and optimizing their performance, engaging suppliers to bring innovative options in procurement, managing the expectations of internal stakeholders and ensuring that all purchases are in line with the policies and procedures of the company. You will also be responsible to ensure that suppliers adhere to the 'Supplier Code' and that the business principles of the company are adhered to at all times.

The Person: We are looking for dynamic personality with a positive attitude towards achieving goals. She/he should have a degree with a minimum of 2 years work experience, preferably in procurement or marketing activations. The ability to work with people and the capability to negotiate are key attributes required for the job. She/he should have effective communication skills, excellent analytical skills and be planned and organized in his/her approach to the task assigned.
