Our client is a leading international engineering company based in Europe.They offers a broad range of planning and consultancy services related primarily to complex infrastructure projects in the energy, hydropower and water resources sectors. They are looking for talented, experienced professionals to work in their Sri Lanka office.
Duties
- Responsible for identifying technical and managerial issues in construction of tunnels.
- Developing optimal requirements for equipment, machinery, materials and personnel mobilization.
- Holding regular progress meetings with construction team and Client.
- Must be competent in work planning, tunnel construction supervision, cost and time control, contract management, quality assurance and quality control, safety control, compliance with safeguards, risk assessment, etc. pertaining to the construction of different types of tunnels.
Requirements
- Must have suitable Bachelor's degree in geology, hydro geology or mining and 10 years' experience.
- Other equivalent qualifications backed with practical field work may be considered.
