Head of Quality Manager

Jaindi Export PVT Ltd is a well-established Organic food processing company. incorporated in 2003 at Mawathagama, Dankotuwa, Sri Lanka. Is producing organic foods under econutrena brand and works exclusively with Organic certified small & medium producers' groups. Organically gown, chemical free raw materials are purchased from these producer groups, under various international certifications and subjected to strict internal control systems & quality parameters set by Jaindi Export PVT Ltd. exports processed products in the forms of bulk and consumer packs to Europe, North America, Japan, Australia German and all other developed countries. Invites applications form a suitable person for the following position.

Duties

• Responsible to meet 100% quality requirements of the customers in timely manner.
• Maintain up to date knowledge most current and innovative QA management practices.
• Responsible reporting and taking any necessary action prevent to food safety.
• Food quality problems from occurring.

Requirements

• B.Sc in science, food science/technology, agriculture, chemistry or other related field.
• Professional qualifications in QM.
• 05-10 years' experience in the organic food processing industry (coconut related food industries are most suitable).
• Excellent knowledge of quality management & compliance system such as HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC.
• Proactive mindset & a problem solving approach in order anticipate issues & put processors into place in order to deliver quality.
• Good verbal & written communication skills and ability to maintain a high level of engagement.
• With outside parties as well as the team internally.
