SOFTWARE ENGINEER - JAVA

You will be primarily responsible for developing and debugging various Java-based systems, in order to meet client requirements whilst providing support on maintenance and documenting the software functionality.

The candidate must:

·          Have a minimum of 2 years' industry experience.

·          Have thorough knowledgeable in Java EE technologies particularly, Spring and Hibernate.

·          Have hands-on experience in Web Services, SOAP and XML.

·          Have knowledge in application modelling with UML, design patterns and SOA.

·          Have experience in database design and development with MySQL/Oracle/SQL Server/PostgreSQL.

·          Have the ability to identify & communicate opportunities for improvement and technical information to non-technical clients.

Background:

·          Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Software Engineering or any other related degree.

·          Sun Certification will be an added advantage.

·          Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

·          Proven interpersonal and client-handling skills.
