We are growing our team and are looking for Software Engineer - Professional Services (Java)

As a Technical Developer you will be working in a team and mainly responsible for wilting customization code as per Technical Specifications and ensuring that the end result meets expected level of technical fit. performance and use of best practices.

We are looking for developers with strong communication skills who are interested in gaining business exposure in addition to building his or her technical skills set. Also, we require a high level of commitment and dedication from all our team members.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a challenging. dynamic environment and collaborate closely with our teams in New York and Colombo.

Responsibilities of the position will include:

·         Work on project implementations with clients who desire back office integration to their existing supply chain computer systems.

·         Programming. unit testing your code. collaborating with the testing team for issue resolution

·         Rolling out customers' technical interfaces.

·         Providing on-going customer technical support to existing clients.

·         Working with other team members in accomplishing group objectives.

·         Ensuring compliance with relevant company standards and guidelines.

Experience, qualifications and requirements;

·         A degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent

·         You must have 2-3 years of work experience with Java, JavaScript. HTML and SQL

·         Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

·         Strong team working. communication and interpersonal skills

·         Familiarity in ERP implementation, Procurement or supply chain systems knowledge a plus

·         Familiarity with EDI. XmL transaction processing, and data mapping

·         Familiarity and an understanding of relational databases, writing and debugging complex SQL statements

·         Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel. Word. PowerPoint, Visio)
