Financial Analysts

CAL (www.capitalalliance.lk) is one of Sri Lanka's fastest growing financial services groups. CAL Partners ("CALP") is CAL's newly-formed investment banking and wealth management arm. CALP seeks high achievers to join in Corporate Finance, Investment Management and Research.

The selected candidates will be responsible for analyzing the performance of companies, industry sectors, and carrying out financial forecasts business valuations etc. reporting to their respective business unit head. CALP seeks both experienced financial industries professionals ("Associates") and fresh recruits ("Analysts") to work in a challenging and fun company.

The right candidate will have:

·         An analytical mind, creativity and drive

·         A demonstrated record of high academic and professional achievement

·         An undergraduate degree or a professional qualification in a relevant field.

·         A minimum of 2 years work experience for Associates

·         Strong analytical skills, be highly numerate and MS Excel proficient

·         Strong oral and written English communication skills

·         To work independently to meet deadlines

·         A 'team player' mindset

What you will do at CALP:

·         Independently analyze industry sectors and companies with minimal guidance

·         Create and build forecast/valuation models and other analyses in Excel

·         Write investment/industry notes

·         Articulate investment ideas persuasively
