Colombo Courtyard, are required for a dynamic, smart, educated, experienced and suitable candidate for the post of Executive Sous Chef.
Executive Sous Chef
Situated in the heart of Colombo, South Asia's first Carbon Neutral City Hotel encompasses 32 suites & rooms, together with 4 restaurants and a spa. Currently seeking personnel for the following vacancy.
Duties
- Executive Sous Chef Colombo Courtyard is in search for a highly experienced.
- Trained Executive Sous Chef to oversee the activities of the entire kitchen division.
- Have a very strong working background.
- Be responsible for budgets and cost control.
- Recruitment and development of the kitchen team.
- HACCP.
- Health and Hygiene monitoring.
- Maintenance as well as remain highly creative in designing menus.
Requirements
- Must have a strong background in being associated with leading /star class hotels.
- Provide supervision, training, direction and leadership to all kitchen staff.
- Ensure smooth operation in the kitchen areas.
- Should be in control of purchasing, receiving and storing.
- Ensure the highest level of food safety and security.
- Must have excellent communication skills in English.
- Have strong leadership and training skills.
