Senior Analyst

Insight information Technology, a well-reputed company in Oman, established in 2003 and currently a firm specialized into various IT services. The firm is undergoing an expansion of its offerings, and will therefore require additional workforce to cater for such expansion.
We are in the process of recruiting professional, dynamic, technology savvy individuals.The candidates must possess competitive skills as well as demonstrate earlier work to matchhis skills pool . Key skills shall include the ability manage all regular tasks in relation to the job title in question. Additional skills will be valued to give the candidate a competitive advantage.

Duties

• Development of Oracle applications using Forms and Reports tools.
• Review, re-structuring and enhancement of existing applications.
• Assisting and training colleagues in any development matters.
• Maintaining a good standard of output and project testing.
• Manage the application quality, performance and up time.
• Perform troubleshooting and bug fixes whenever necessary.
• Manage migrations and integration with other systems.
• Generate relevant management reports on quality and performance.
• Maintaining the security of the applications and data (code-level).
• Maintaining project timelines as per SDLC and plans.
• Ensure compatibility and compliance with internal and external standards.

Requirements

• Join the company within a short period.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 10 years experience.
• At least 2 years hands-on experience with WebLogic and Oracle Application Server administration.
• Skillful with PL/SQL and relevant technologies (triggers, packages, functions, views, database links and XML).
• Must be a team player and work closely with software/web developers.
• A sound knowledge in Web Server technology and Web standards.
• Additional certifications and Oracle-related courses will be valued.
• A minimum of OCP certificate (Oracle Forms Developer Certified Professional) is required.
• Knowledge in web development like HTML and XML web services is highly valued.
• Must have positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Both written and verbal (English).
